Dr. Park's program of research focuses on the secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease. Her current research projects center around determining the most engaging, practical, and meaningful technology-based interventions to improve patient self-care, clinical outcomes, and quality of life for patients with ischemic heart disease and heart failure. Dr. Park applies mixed quantitative / qualitative research methods in her research among patients with cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Park is also active in her clinical role as a nurse practitioner and works at a medical center for Cardiovascular Services. She holds an appointment as a Nurse Researcher at San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she conducts work related to her VA Nursing Research Initiative Award.
